Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer warehouse phone line and provide customer support, including assisting in diagnosing issues with ordering equipment, or direct the call to someone who can answer their questions
- Provide operational support to dealers during Corporate off hours. Will be required to work outside of normal business hours to provide on-call support.
- Monitor email system for any errors in Epicor, WMS, middleware and ordering system that come up, paying special attention to time periods when a truck is shipping/invoicing. Correct errors that arise by following the instructions as listed in the Email Handbook or contacting the on-call support person.
- Complete the daily scheduled operations tasks and nightly order verification as outlined on the Daily Operations Schedule
- Serve as a secondary resource for United’s retail scanners, warehouse scanners and warehouse scanner supplies, batteries, work stations, voice units and warehouse printers
- Operate various printers to print paperwork for the stores and drivers, i.e. bin labels, price tickets, status reports, bill of ladings and hazardous manifest for loaded trucks
- Collate printed documents by customer into designated customer envelopes
- Ready trucks for departure, add additional information to bill of ladings and complete, copy and file manifest for the trucks
- Acquire an overall understanding of how the WMS applications, scanning and voice devices are used to run the Warehouse
- Provides computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users
- Enter tickets into issue management system as needed
- Provides support to desktop or laptop users on all company supported operating system and software applications. While the majority will be Microsoft office products, support is not limited to these products.
- Responsible for configuration and installation of all workstations and printers
- Refers major hardware problems to Management for resolution
- Clean and maintain warehouse computers and printers as needed
- Keep printer supplies and server room fully stocked with paper and labels
- Assist in handling employee orders and payment as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High School or GED
- Understanding of Microsoft PC and Server operating systems, administration and utilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
- A solid understanding of network computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
