MPS Group, Inc., currently has a full-time salaried Application Developer opening at the Farmington Hills, MI, headquarters.

Job Summary

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for directly supporting the efforts of the IT Manager and various key stakeholders throughout the organization. In this position you will use your knowledge of programming languages and APIs to determine needs, propose solutions, and design applications as well as data integrations, to meet business needs utilizing traditional and low code platforms.

Responsibilities

· Design, build, and implement traditional, content management, and low code workflow applications, in support of business processes and electronic form automation initiatives.

· Actively participate with IT management to design and implement guidelines for developer best practices, including version control, security, documentation, and training.

· Take a primary role in working with end-users to design and implement new automation tools focused on increasing worker efficiency and safety.

· Identify and migrate manual form processes to automated electronic workflow.

· Collect and analyze needs from key stakeholders to design and build timely solutions that meet the desired scope and objectives.

· Build data integrations using API’s and other tools to facilitate the transfer of data between systems.

· Create and maintain end user training documentation, technical design, and admin documentation.

· Oversee application performance to ensure solutions are running efficiently.

· Assist in the management of corporate website and intranet.

· Take ownership of existing application code base by recommending and making changes as necessary to ensure ongoing efficiency and functionality.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience designing, building, and supporting application development through the entire lifecycle.

· Strong project management experience.

· Experience working with and developing MS SharePoint sites and applications.

· Proficient with MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps, and MS Power BI.

· Knowledge of MS SQL development a plus.

· Proficient with development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and .NET.

· Proficient with APIs and data integrations using Rest API, JSON, and XML.

· Experience with GitHub or other Version Control Systems.

· Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.

· Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Annual salary ranges between $80K to $95K.
