We are looking for an experienced outside sales professional to identify new business opportunities, conduct in depth research and promote Johnstone Supply’s products and services to potential customers.

Essential Job Functions

· Prospecting new customers and finds new quality leads.

· Contact existing and prospective customers to uncover, clarify or amplify needs & opportunities.

· Position products and services as a strategic advantage to customers based on customer's business needs.

· Establishes and expands relationships with key people and decision-makers within each customer organization.

· Consults with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

· Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales

· Develops territory and sales plans to target key customers and prioritize sales activities.

· Participates with management in updating territory plans and setting sales goals.

· Maintains knowledge of new and existing products and inventory by participating in training and seeking knowledge from sales manager and experienced sales representatives.

Qualifications

· You have minimum of 2 Years sales experience

  •  Ideally, in HVAC industry preferred, but not necessary

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Excellent planning skills

· Value driven, not price

Who you would work with:

A growing sales team and report to the local AZ Sales Manager.

What work looks like:

You’ll be on the road, finding and visiting customers, building relationships and solving problems. You turn the problem solving into sales and margins, through persistent follow-up and closing skills. When a customer does have an issue, you help understand the root cause and solve it. When you do have office time, it will be spent in one of the 6 branches in the Phoenix area where you’ll find a well-lit, modern buildings with friendly branch employees. You will negotiate and write large orders but rely on counter / inside sales associates for the day-to-day order taking. When you come across something you don’t understand / need help with, you reach out to anyone across the company or one of our vendor reps and you’ll get answers / guidance
