The Position: Sales Executive
We are looking for a highly experienced masonry and concrete specialist that knows how to sell to a mid-high market. Someone who understands the materials, pricing, and installation methods needed to sell projects to clients who have a good understanding of the industry. The DiBara Masonry Sales Executive will first discuss projects over the phone with potential clients, providing them with a ballpark figure based on photos and the conversation had. They will then meet with clients onsite to finalize the scope, pricing, and conduct a detailed walkthrough. A formal proposal is then sent to the client, including the price and summary of the scope. If the client decides to move forward, a formal detailed contract is provided - outlining every detail of the scope, as well as all relevant exclusions. They will be responsible for dealing with third party vendors such as structural engineers, permitting expeditors, and landscape designers. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for matching materials for repairs and selecting materials for new construction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct client site visits & meticulously intake project scope details
- Secure all relevant information to submit detailed bids including materials identification
- Manage clients relationships with partner vendors including landscape designers, architects, engineers, irrigation specialists, etc.
- Prepare detailed bids for submission according to pricing formulas
- Deploy strategies to meet monthly sales targets
- Provide regular counsel to clients & continue to build relationship until sold job
- Prepare contract & invoice for client
- Conduct weekly meetings with Project Management to transition approved bids to strategic planning phase
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 10+ years of in-field masonry and concrete experience (in both commercial and residential sectors)
- Proven customer service experience
- Computer proficiency
- Expert knowledge of the trade, including block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing and blueprints
