The Position
Eurovia USA is seeking an IT Data Analyst to work across multiple IT areas as part of the Technology team in Orlando, FL, reporting to the Group IT Applications Manager. In this role, you will have a proven track record of collaborating with internal business groups to document requirements and you have strong data skills. The IT Data Analyst is responsible for creating documentation, using PowerBI to create reports, process diagrams, and maintain data modeling databases and tools.
Key Duties
- Act as a business relationship liaison between internal clients, vendors and international locations
- Strong analytical skills with database knowledge
- Modeling of datasets and creation of reports in Power BI desktop
- Design documentation and publication of reports in Power BI online using Pipelines
- Management of users, security roles and data refresh tasks
- Help drive process efficiencies and add value to the company by bringing your experience to Eurovia
- Identify business intelligence reporting needed by the business and work with others to create it
- Solicit and write business/functional requirements as needed to facilitate communications on projects
- Collaborate with peers across the globe to ensure alignment with parent company IT strategy
- Coordinate and leverage internal and external resources to support project implementation
- Prepare user training materials as needed for projects
- Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- Ability to set communication plan for projects and internal business units
- Provide technical and functional support to end users
- Serve as a helpdesk resource to document and resolve end user issues and requests
Education, Experience and Skills.
- Minimum 3+ years with data analytics and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Experience with Power BI analytics and data extracts
- Power BI experience required with ability to model datasets and create reports
- Solid experience working with vendors and acting as part of a project team
- Progressive, relevant responsibility throughout your career
- Excellent planning and self-directed time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service focus
- Advanced excel skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and flexible/extended hours when requested
