WE are looking for a Telecom Analyst to provide white glove support for a field workforce with approximately 21,000 mobile devices. Duties include invoice payment, wireless procurement, management, activation, cancellation, and some troubleshooting of smartphones, tablets, and MiFi devices. Invoices are processed through a TEM system. Requests are fielded through a ticketing system, phone calls, and departmental distribution lists.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Communicate / collaborate with client IT staff, client end-users, and client vendors to secure needed information and provide transactional support for orders and issues as required.
- Manage client vendors for appropriate and favorable performance to ensure client and end-user satisfaction.
- Prioritize and complete assigned tasks independently, accurately, in a timely fashion, and according to established processes.
- Access client and vendor systems to review, update and maintain accurate records to make appropriate recommendations. Systems include but are not limited to:
- Vendor portals – AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, AirWatch.
- Smartsheet – review, edit, update.
- NexTEM portal-invoice processing and reporting
- Client ticketing system – maintain updates.
- Operational support for outages and resolution management, as necessary.
- Telecom invoice review and validation.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling invoices.
- Engage in special assignments related to mobile devices, as assigned.
Required Skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

- Familiarity with iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.
- Knowledge of, and hands-on experience with, SIM cards, IMEI, and MEID numbers.
- Ability to educate and assist non-technical employees with troubleshooting and activating new devices and/or SIM replacements.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills including tact, diplomacy, empathy, and assertiveness to collaborate on completion of assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated experience writing clear, concise letters or email messages with accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Experience working at an AT&T Wireless retail store is highly valued.
