Key elements of your day-to-day:

• Work closely with the Controller to maintain complete and accurate financial records for Venture
• Participate in a variety of activities that involve the general ledger, accounts payable, treasury, account reconciliations, and reoccurring charge-out transactions
• Conduct key activities related to month, quarter, and year end close alongside the Controller

What you need to be successful in this role:

• 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Previous General Ledger experience preferred
• Construction, property management, or real estate industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with quarterly and annual reporting of state and local excise tax, B&O tax, use tax, and 1099s.
