Burkholder’s Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. a family-owned business for over 50 years, is proud to be the leading heating and air conditioning contractor in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas. We have years of quality installation experience for both residential and commercial HVAC systems. Our certified technicians have extensive experience repairing and maintaining Lehigh Valley’s HVAC systems for both our residential and commercial customers.

We are seeking self-motivated, responsible individuals with high customer service standards and strong work ethic to join our Commercial and Residential Service departments.

The below positions are sign on bonus eligible.

Residential Service Job Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, diagnosis, and repairs and provides preventive maintenance on DX cooling, Heat pumps, oil/gas boilers, oil/gas furnaces, electronic air cleaners, Troubleshoots and repairs all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment. Provides startups and troubleshooting for a variety of HVAC systems, meets with customers, evaluates their needs and makes recommendations.  Valid driver’s license, Clear MVR, EPA required, NATE certified desired.

Commercial Service Job Responsibilities

Proficient in the service, diagnostics, and repair of air cooled and water cooled screw, scroll and reciprocating chillers; Large Packaged rooftop units; Split condensing/AHU systems; Boilers; Gas and Oil fired; Centrifugal Pumps; Positive displacement compressors; Evaporative Cooling towers; air to air Energy recovery systems; VFD drives; pneumatic Control systems; experience with building automation systems, Desiccant energy recovery systems,  Computer room systems,  Industrial Dehumidification,  Industrial steam applications, and Make up air applications/
Valid driver’s license, Clear MVR, EPA Certification required, Allentown Sheet Metal License desired.
