Job Description:  The HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems in commercial or public buildings.

Job Duties:

The Technician reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of HVAC systems, water and duct systems. The technician will install, replace  and service HVAC systems, components and controls. These piping systems may be used to transport water, gases or hot liquids.  HVAC Techs work with other trades and laborers to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project. Providing adequate services will ensure that all HVAC systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of service experience in Commercial Air Conditioning.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good communications skills are required.
  • Must have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing light and heavy rooftop units up to 75 tons, and split systems up to 20 tons.
  • Chillers and control systems experience a plus.
  • Overtime may be necessary, must be willing to be on call, must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a clean driving record.
