Do you have experience with DOT regulations and managing vehicle and equipment fleets?

J.F. Brennan Company (Brennan) is looks for a Fleet Vehicle Coordinator who will assist with the procurement, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of Brennan fleet vehicles. The Fleet Vehicle Coordinator will also oversee the GPS system to ensure compliance and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventative maintenance and repairs of company vehicles.
  • Track vehicle mileage and project vehicle replacements.
  • Responsible for vehicle and trailer licensing and registration.
  • Schedule and track annual DOT inspections.
  • Audit vehicle mileage, usage and driving behavior of company vehicles through GPS system.
  • Purchase, troubleshoot and manage GPS units for vehicle and equipment fleet.
  • Assist with all vehicle insurance claims.
  • Assist with IFTA & IRP reporting.
  • Track and manage DOT compliance of the Brennan vehicle fleet and CMV drivers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of vehicle maintenance or service management experience.
  • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate close attention to detail and accuracy of reporting data.
