Description:

The TPM-3 Position requires expert level experience for helium leak and pressure change testing. The individual will require certification and on the job training. This individual will be required to provide support as an instructor/mentor for future resources.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management of technical or operational work, including developing project plans, work breakdown structures, and work packages; managing to scope, schedule, budget, and technical baselines; and documenting baseline reports and change control actions.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with nuclear facilities and managing facility and or programmatic project work.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of/and experience in the design, installation and startup of programmatic equipment and gloveboxes.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage (organize, direct, control) a project management team, including supervision and development of employees.
  • Experience in developing and nurturing effective mid-level internal customer relationships.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel; building trust, gaining consensus, and resolving conflicts.
  • Demonstrated experience with presentation skills and report writing.
  • Plans and develops projects or phases of projects concerned with unique problems.
  • Plans, develops, coordinates and assists in the management of projects.
  • May develop plans and conduct research on complex problems.
  • May also plan, administer and recommend policies to senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or construction management and at least eight years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in key interface areas supporting nuclear facilities operations at TA-55 site specific processes, including but not limited to, criticality safety, radiological protection, safety basis, industrial safety, physical and information security, environmental compliance, NQA-1 implementation, Conduct of Engineering, readiness assessments, high hazard operations, waste management, analytical chemistry, and metal operations.
  • Experience with line item project processes and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ADPSM programs, including technical and operational disciplines.
  • Advanced degree in engineering or related discipline or MBA.
  • Professional registration in engineering and/or Project Management Institute certification
