This role will help plan, lead, direct, develop, and execute the policies, activities, processes, and programs that ensure our employees, our culture, and our company are engaged, healthy, and growing. What you will do

  • Manage the planning, development, and implementation of HR strategies and tactics of the manufacturing operations at different sites and other assigned responsibilities.
  • Play a proactive leadership role as a business partner to drive a culture that values quality, leadership, ingenuity, teamwork, and commitment to success.
  • Coach and counsel managers and employees in all aspects of HR management.
  • Create, launch, and implement solutions that address the needs of the department/unit, while considering future and long-term needs and goals.
  • Utilize broad HR skills in the areas of employee relations, compensation, training, talent management, and communication. Plan and implement people/organization solutions aligned to the department/unit, HR strategy, needs, and goals.
  • Ensure excellent alignment and execution of established human resources policies and practices.
  • Consistently utilize HR systems, processes, and technology to drive efficiency and consistency across the function.
  • Effectively collaborate and build trusting relationships with other HR team members to manage the function efficiently and effectively, including HR operations/benefits, compensation, recruitment, Corporate HR, and peers throughout the function.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and processes impacting the manufacturing facility/ function(s). Lead employee programs and activities that support a positive working environment.
  • Support other HR-driven initiatives.

What you will need

  • BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience required; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
  • 6+ years of broad, business-facing experience within Human Resources function with a strong focus on employee relations. Experience in directly supporting business groups and, specifically, manufacturing settings required. Medical Device or Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Strongly developed consulting and systemic problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and advise business leaders through complex employee situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and HRIS systems.
  • High customer focus with strong business and people acumen combined with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to navigate organizations and communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic environment and has experience working through ambiguity and complexity. Willing to navigate within a lean structure.
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing and distribution sites in TX, MO, and MI as needed. 25% Travel required as needed.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. Further, the pay that is offered is based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees. Benefits include healthcare, 401K, time off, and more.
