This position schedule is Sunday - Thursday 10:45pm - 07:00am

Objective

This position assists in the overall optimization of rubber, plastic, and liquid silicone processing and provides assistance with facility and equipment modifications and maintenance. Team members are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment and support all initiatives of operations and quality systems to ensure customer quality and delivery requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Preventative Maintenance Program for machinery and building.
• Reads blueprints and troubleshoots machines, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and auxiliary equipment.
• Assists with maintaining an orderly and clean facility.
• Fabricates new and existing equipment as directed.
• Assists in setting up and moving equipment.
• Communicates with production and other maintenance employees regarding production and priority needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support company values and objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required – Technical Degree preferred
• Two years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Involved in repair and preventative maintenance duties daily
• Can operate forklift and other equipment

Physical Demands

• Ability to continuously stand, walk, or sit.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
