SUMMARY:
The NetSuite Administrator/Developer demonstrates strong influence and communication skills to interact successfully and effectively with all departments as an advisor to the organization on system efficiency and effectiveness. This administrator will work to ensure that the functionality of NetSuite and support systems is optimized and that all users are well positioned with the training and knowledge needed to effectively use the systems to their fullest. Responsible for understanding system and business requirements and translating them into action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully administer NetSuite including user management, reporting, dashboard development, and updates.
- Support integration project efforts of existing systems and data into NetSuite and be the liaison with NetSuite Support.
- Evaluate business requirements, translate them into functional and system requirements that meet those needs, and implement solutions in NetSuite.
- Coordinate with NetSuite support on issues that cannot be resolved internally.
- Design and Develop SuiteScripts to add functionality required by various departments independently and with consultants as needed.
- Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage etc.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality on new releases, customizations, and integrations.
- Perform day-to-day operation, maintenance, project status, change requests, and support tasks for all NetSuite applications.
- Responsible for NetSuite data management which includes governance and control, security, and integrity.
- Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPI's, and dashboards.
- Monitor end-user usage and daily system scripts, and track performance.
- Provide internal, on-going system/technical support to users, including training and maintaining proper system access for all roles.
REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years working in Finance/accounting systems administration.
- 3+ years of solid NetSuite modules experience including core financials, procurement, and sales order processing.
- Experience with SuiteScript, JavaScript, and HTML.
- NetSuite Administrator Certification preferred.
- NetSuite administration, support, and management experience in global operations.
- A strong understanding of business processes and requirements.
- Project management and system implementation experience.
- Ability to support light NetSuite development preferred.
- Ability to create and complete project deliverables and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet established objectives.
- Skilled in MS Office products.
- An analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems.
