IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Accounts Payable Specialist in Suffolk, Virginia.
Job Summary
- Processes job cost related invoices against purchase orders
- Maintains accurate records of overhead expenses and invoice exceptions per company policies and procedures
- Computes and records interest charges, refunds, and similar items
- Reconciles account statements.
- Ensures consistent application of company accounts payable policies and related finance policies
Qualifications
- Understanding of job costs and expense reports.
- Knowledge of basic subcontract processing and receiving.
- Ability to read, spell, write and compute basic math
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) and general accounting software
- Strong computer skills
- Spectrum accounting software experience preferred but not required.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
