Ideal candidates will be skilled in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, automated and pneumatic controls, electrical and plumbing systems and have experience in the general repairs & maintenance of commercial office buildings.  Experience at a D1, D2,  or  S2 proficiency level is required.  We are looking for motivated people with excellent communication and strong customer service skills.  Also, candidates should have basic computer knowledge to use our internet based work-order and BMS systems. We seek candidates with backgrounds in following disicplines 

 

Building Engineer with HVAC experience 

Water source heat pumps

Able to read schematics

Some plumbing and electrical skills

Needs to be willing to do all building maintenance tasks

HVAC or OE2 License preferred but can set up apprenticeship if needed

 

         Building Engineer with Electrical experience

         Basic electrical skills

         Able to read schematics and troubleshoot simple electrical problems

         Needs to be willing to do all building maintenance tasks

         Electrical Apprenticeship can be provided for qualified candidates

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Diagnose and perform routine maintenance/repair involving the following on a daily basis:
  • Electrical and plumbing 
  • A/C and heating systems 
  • Boiler, gas, and electric.
  • Security systems and fire protection equipment.
  • Wall repair.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests received and completed, 

 

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Equipment: Motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, electric and hand powered augers, etc.
  • HVAC and EPA certification and working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
  • Measuring Devices: Voltmeters, ohmmeters, testing meters, moisture meters
  • 1 – 3 years commercial building experience is required
