Industrial Power Solutions is seeking an experience Equipment/Facilities Supervisor.
Pay Range $25 to $35
Tasks and accountabilities:
- Coordinates automotive and equipment repair and preventative maintenance services.
- Maintain maintenance programs with local vendors for the fleet, including scheduling repairs and authorizing materials necessary for the upkeep.
- Establish service in various localities for emergency repairs.
- Purchase necessary materials to supply drivers with a standardized vehicle, supplies, and tools, and perform or coordinate installation.
- Determine purchase versus rental needs.
- Determine when to take equipment out of service due to mechanical problems.
- Direct the transport of all equipment and tools.
- Schedule the preparation and transportation of equipment to be delivered to various job sites.
- Inspect and maintain all areas of the facility. Industrial Power Solutions Bay's(Warehouse).
- Ensure facilities remain operational. Perform preventative maintenance and schedule repairs as needed.
- Ensure the yard is kept clean and organized to facilitate the efficient movement of equipment and materials.
- Periodic review and renewals of service contracts e.g., trash & recycling.
- Contacting service providers as directed by management e.g. A/C repair.
- Maintain files, and documentation on all equipment and facilities.
- Interface with company departments for proper reporting (Accounting, Job managers, Owners).
- Work with accounting to ensure proper allocation of equipment costs for job costing.
- Ensures compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed.
- Maintains accurate records of vehicles, equipment, and tools, including maintenance of record databases such as Milwaukee tool & Foundation.
- Capture & record equipment hours.
- Maintain equipment files including inventory, repair and maintenance, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous electrical component knowledge is a plus, bringing added value to the role.
- Ability to inspect and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
- Strong organizational skills, enabling you to efficiently manage inventory and logistics.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory records and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively to achieve common goals.
- Basic computer skills, enabling you to utilize inventory management systems and other software as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
