JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking an experienced HydroVac Operator to operate our hydrovac truck out of our Williston, ND and Sidney, MT locations.

Salary:  $28 - $35/hour based on experience with opportunities for pay increases and career advancement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexibility of schedule with normal hours of 7am-6pm with weekends and extended hours as needed
  • Travel may be required at times and occasional overnight stays when necessary
  • Attend all safety meetings deemed necessary by management
  • Safe operation of hydrovac truck and the safety of those working with you
  • Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects
  • Job scheduling, effective communication, professionalism, and demonstration of a strong customer service focus in all customer interactions
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical problems as needed
  • Timely completion of job reports, invoice approvals, and time and attendance
  • Follow all state, local and federal laws that may be relevant to daily activities
  • Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous hydrovac truck or other related industrial experience preferred
  • Must have a minimum CDL B license
  • Experience driving a manual transmission
  • Tanker endorsement
  • Ability to participate in and pass Agri Industries Safety Orientation Program and First Aid/CPR
  • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in various types of weather conditions
  • Willingness to work M-F, 40-70 hours per week and after hours and weekends as necessary
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
  • Skilled in operating a hydrovac truck proficiently and safely
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be willing to do all types of labor in addition to hydro excavation

Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, MVR history, pre-employment drug testing, physical (DOT/NON-DOT), and must meet all physical demands of the job listed below as determined by a Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS TO BE MET INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty
  • Repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl
  • Lift 50lbs regularly
  • Climb ladders
  • Be cleared to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy
  • Work in loud environments which may require the use of ear plugs
