 Salary Range: $50K-$70K

Job Purpose

The Contracts Assistant is responsible for performing bid, contract, clerical functions, and procedures to maintain and support our municipal sales department. This role works closely with our Regional Sales Managers and our Sales and Bid Coordinators.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and execute contract documents.
  • Request certificates of insurance and performance and payment bonds.
  • Review contract language, terms and conditions, and document contract details into CRM to include but not limited to contract effective dates, expiration dates, and extendable to dates.
  • Obtain and document bid results for all municipal bids in CRM.
  • Scanning, updating, and electronically filing documents and crucial information into necessary systems which include, pVault, CRM, and HubSpot.
  • Any other functions as required.

 

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of college degree required;
  • Minimum 1-3 years previous related experience;
  • Ability to process a large volume of transactions accurately;
  • Good analytical skills required;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel;
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized;
  • Ability to interact professionally, both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment;
  • Must be proactive and solution oriented;

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements

  • Requires extensive computer use for long periods of time;
  • Noise level is typically quiet in the office;
  • Required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers to probe, handle, or feel and reach with hands or arms;
  • Required to sit for long periods;
  • Required to listen and respond in a professional manner;
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25lbs;
