OVERVIEW

As part of the Enterprise Systems Infrastructure Team, the Enterprise Systems Analyst provides coordination, management, and support for Dakota Electric Association’s enterprise systems.

The selected candidate will work with all of our back-end systems, cloud-based applications, and more to ensure that our customers and employees do not experience any difficulties.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for the support of enterprise servers and systems, including testing, upgrades, patch management, and support requests.

· Responsible for assisting in annual enterprise hardware budget and enterprise plan.]

· Responsible for backup/restoration process and procedures, disaster recovery planning, and test environment infrastructure.

· Provides enterprise administration oversight, including Active Directory objects, integration of Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, Linux servers and workstation systems, analysis and maintenance of server disk space use and archiving, including directly attached and SAN, workstation management and inventory utilities, wireless technologies, and virtual server technologies.

· Ensures the secure operation of computing and enterprise systems. Continual investigation of new technologies to improve the overall enterprise. Use of security methodology best practices and tools.

· Provides support, and administration of Internet/Intranet servers and services, including cloud hosted and on-premises solutions, colocation, and any other provisions necessary to insure stability and reliability of the Internet/Intranet systems and services.

· Performs other work as apparent or assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· College Degree in a related field or 3 years Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2019 experience or MCSE certification, if certification is used it must be obtained within the last 5 years. Experience must include:

o A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the information services industry.

o A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Microsoft enterprise solutions.

o A minimum of 3 years’ experience with network and computer security.

o A minimum of 3 years’ experience with hosted solutions or cloud-based service administration.

· Must have knowledge of:

o Network concepts.

o Microsoft Windows.

o Microsoft Server.

o TCP/IP.

o Ethernet technologies.

o Cloud and Internet technologies.

o Remote access technologies.

o Wireless technologies.

o Security concepts and firewalls.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with Macintosh operating systems.

· Electrical Cooperatives experience.

· Customer focus approach.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal department office conditions and working hours apply (40 hours/week). Occasional overtime may be required. Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers in all departments to successfully implement accounting policies and procedures. Must be able to cope with stressful situations that interrupt the normal workday schedule.
