Region: Beaumont, Texas and Surrounding Areas

 

This position will report to the General Manager of the Beaumont/Vidor location.  The primary objective of this role is to continue the successful growth and implementation of the companies’ service offerings to the Golden Triangle/Louisiana Commercial and Industrial Market. This position will be based out of the Vidor, TX office; focusing on business development with new clients in the Industrial and Commercial sector.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Prospect for and generate new Maintenance opportunities within the Greater Beaumont, Port Arthur & East Texas Industrial & Commercial Markets.
  • Engage with multiple levels within the Industrial & Commercial sector: Maintenance Managers, Procurement and Senior Management.
  • Identify ideal prospective clients and navigate the Pre-Qualification Process to obtain contractor access.
  • Meet with prospects on a weekly basis and conduct thorough qualifying sessions to identify need and establish a relationship.
  • Identify and present new marketing strategies for commercial market penetration.
  • Work with the Marketing department to provide relevant content in order to run constant campaigns for brand awareness & recognition with prospects.
  • Report on business funnel weekly with sales management.
  • Work with the Sales support group to generate proposals and agreements for prospective clients.
  • Closely work with the Operations team to identify opportunities and assess prospects current situation.
  • Conduct financial conversations with prospects pertaining to their facility and specific to their industry.

 Skills/Competencies:

  • Heavy experience in selling Business to Business solutions with the commercial sector, in a variety of vertical markets.
  • Understanding of “behind the gates” operational and process activities.
  • Must have acute Total Cost of Ownership knowledge.
  • Experience with commercial asset management and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC and process cooling applications is preferred.
  • Must have strong detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deal and interact with executive level decision makers.
  • Must be self-driven and able to learn new applications, products and services quickly.
  • Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proven product and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and the application of competitive advantages to meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Excellent database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated Team Player.

 Degree/Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree with a concentration in finance, marketing, business or engineering is preferred.
  • Must have 5-plus years of proven sales experience. Previous HVAC and/or technical building systems sales is a plus.
  • Current TWIC and HACSC safety compliance certificates is a plus
