Acumen Enterprises, Inc. has an opportunity for a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager. The Mechanical Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the preparation of project estimates on small and large projects.
Key Responsibilities
- General assistant to the estimator as needed in the bidding of mechanical projects.
- Analyzes requests for proposals for bid requirements.
- Gathering and organizing information and finalizing proposals.
- Communicates with estimators to clarify requirements and documents these clarifications.
- Assists with final assembly of estimate for presentation to owner.
- Participation in and documentation of project coordination meetings.
- Consults with clients, vendors, and other individuals to discuss and resolve issues.
- After the bid, collects and organizes all bid information for future reference.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors to obtain a competitive advantage for Acumen
- Attends industry events and represents Acumen to the industry in a professional capacity.
Qualifications
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with ability to perform with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills.
- General knowledge of construction principles and processes.
- Knowledge of GSA, TXMAS and TIPS contracts preferred.
