Job Summary:

Information Technology Level 1 Tech will be expected to answer questions and manage requests related to information technology for Dunn Companies.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting, such as password resets, printer configurations, break/fix instructions, ticket routing and escalation to Lavel 2 and Level3 support.
  • May also escalate to IT Applications support or communicate with outside vendor maintenance (Level 4), as needed.
  • Assists users by answering questions and providing support in a timely manner.
  • Prepares and presents reports related to IT problems and help desk activity for management review and action.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and not otherwise specified.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information in understandable language to nontechnical staff members.
  • Interest in Information Technology Career.

Education/Experience:

  • IT Level 1 Certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.

 

 

Work Location

  • Franklin, Tennessee
  • Initial 3-month training with Dunn Companies IT Department between MS and AL.
