We need weekend shift coverage overseeing the warehouse and logistical operations for field parts supply.  Work Schedule:  Fri.-Sun., 6:00am-7:00pm (3 12-hour shifts), and occasionally during the week.  Typically, 36 hours per week, salaried (FLSA exempt status).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primarily responsible for the coordination of all warehouse functions during the weekend shift; including, but not limited to warehouse condition, dispatching parts runners, processing inventory sheets, ordering equipment, supervising warehouse team members, as well as coordinating with install teams to pull product for timely dispatch.  Shared supervisory responsibilities for 10 or more direct reporting team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees weekend warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product to field personnel
  • Partners with managers and peers to provide “World Class” customer service
  • Evaluates weekend process to ensure maximum performance and use tools available to achieve peak productivity and safety
  • Partners with field management team to ensure all jobs are pulled properly to maximize efficiencies to ensure the timely dispatch of field personnel
  • Orders equipment for field personnel to ensure the timely completion of installs and service work
  • Processes inventory sheets for install jobs
  • Dispatches parts runners
  • Ensures warehouse upkeep of cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Partners with warehouse members and identifies processes to maximize efficiency, maintain organization, and conduct proper inventory transactions
  • Ensures the accuracy of the inventory and assists in conducting physical inventory audits
  • Trains/coaches/mentors warehouse personnel, as needed
  • Ensures quality and safety objectives are met
  • Provides information and assistance to management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of existing operations, systems, and procedures
  • Partners with all departments to meet and exceed customers’ service expectations
  • Attends supervisor and department meetings, as required
  • All other duties, as assigned by Manager

 MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory ability
  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass extensive criminal background check
  • Must have an insurable driving record & valid driver license
  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced stressful environment
  • Must have experience in computer data entry within databases, spreadsheets, and have the ability to enter data in “real time” quickly and accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully and diplomatically diffuse contentious situations
  • Ability to recognize and establish priorities
  • Ability to coach and develop members for improvement
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide an effective solution
  • High performance team player with a commitment to company values
  • Ability to maintain safe work practices and adhere to company safety standards
  • Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

HIGHLY PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ year(s) of Leadership and Supervisory experience
  • 3+ years of Warehouse/Inventory Control experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the noise level is usually moderate. May require extensive use of a PC to access data and customer information. Requires wearing of a headset for communication with customers on the phone and a two way radio simultaneously. Maintain confidentiality with customer information.
