Job Description:

Performing one or more of the following tasks:

• Cut grass, using walking-type or riding mowers
• Trim hedges and edge around walks, flower beds, driveways, etc. using hedge trimmers, clippers, chain saws and edging tools.
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools.
• Spray lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer or insecticide
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs
• Pick up and cart away leaves, paper or other litter.
• Removes debris from walks, drives, roadways and parking lots.

Work hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm – Monday through Friday (possible overtime)

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by Position:

Grounds landscaping

Must possess a valid state driver’s license

Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs.

Must be able to use ladders

Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel etc. for extended periods for planting or working on equipment.

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old

Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing, background and reference checks
