DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports directly to the Supply Services Section Lead. This position may also perform aspects of technical supply management work as the Property Administrator (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing the Logistics Support Plan for the entire test process
  • Providing input to the test control plans
  • Preparing the GFP and GSA requests in accordance with the TAR requirements
  • Preparing and submitting the work requests to the warehouse for support
  • Preparing and submitting purchase requests
  • Maintaining 100% accountability of all issued GFP
  • Preparing and submitting sensitive item reports
  • Preparing and submitting required paperwork for NVD requirements when used
  • Ensuring GFP is stored properly
  • Support test site setup, execution of test, and tear down
  • Controlling the shipping or transport of all GFP and equipment to test site.
  • Turn in and recovery of all GFP
  • Coordinating for copier rentals
  • Preparing the transportation plans for movement of personnel and equipment
  •  

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in supply/logistics during an interview. Candidates must be proficient in MS Access Database or MS Excel for spreadsheet tracking of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years’ experience as a supply technician. US Army Operational Testing experience as a supply technician is required.  Prior military experience is desired with understanding of military terminology, field operations, and military tactical experience.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma

 SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • US Citizenship is Required
  • Must have a current SECRET security clearance
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card and Local Area Network account
  • Valid State driver's license and car insurance for access to military installations and travel
  • Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle

PAY:  $25.77.  This is a Service Contract Act position, subject to all conditions of the Service Contact Act
