Weis Builders is a premier construction company with over 85 years of delivering high-quality projects that make a lasting impact on communities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support our construction management team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial goals.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients and team members.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration as well as support Weis Builders continuous growth.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management and clients.
  • Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, managing orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all project sites.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate Associates.
  • Setup and maintain project files in an organized manner.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of group events
  • Manage the handling of incoming and outgoing physical mail, as well as third-party delivery service packages
  • Manage communication with office landlord and office third party vendors

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Textura, Procore, CMiC (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
  • This position requires the ability to work fully in the office five days per week.
