Join our amazing Safety team for our 2025 Spring/Summer internship. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in the field as well as the office. Generous Compensation Package Includes:
- $20/hr starting wage.
- $150 Apparel Allowance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Safety Director and Safety Managers with job start-up paperwork.
- Attending safety meetings
- Conducting on-site inspections with Safety personnel
- Tracking and recording safety-related statistics
- Completing Job Safety Analysis
Education Required: Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program for Occupational Safety and Health.
Experience, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
- Excellent computer skills.
- Comfortable with meeting and talking with new people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Have knowledge in all safety related aspects in construction.
Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook
Work Environment: As a Safety Intern for RAM, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic.
Travel: If travel is required to complete your job duties, you will be recompensated appropriately (mileage reimbursement, etc).
