At C.J. Moyna & Sons, LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality earthmoving solutions. We are seeking skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented shop mechanics and field mechanics to support our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Skills:

  • Must be mechanically inclined- familiar with different aspects of heavy equipment and how all their parts work together.
  • Will have good hand, eye and foot coordination and reaction time to identify and adjust the tools needed to fix or perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Must communicate with other mechanics, supervisors/foremen, lube technicians, and operators.
  • Will have good time management skills.
  • Will keep accurate records of what service was performed and meter readings.

 

Abilities:

  • Control Precision- ability to act quickly and repeatedly to adjust the controls of the machine or tools you are using.
  • Manual Dexterity- ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
  • Multi-limb Coordination- ability to coordinate two or more limbs, while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.
  • Reaction Time- ability to respond quickly (with hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.
  • Oral Comprehension- ability to listen to and understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Near Vision- ability to see details at close range.
  • Physical Strength- must be able to lift 50 lbs or less to carry tools/parts.

 

  • Will know the federal and state laws for operating a commercial motor vehicle (Field Mechanics only).
  • MSHA
  • OSHA 10 Hour for construction industry
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Flagging
  • Hazmat
  • Fall Protection
  • Hoisting & Rigging

 

Experience:

  • Mechanical on Heavy Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
  • CDL (preferred)
  • . Field mechanics must be willing to travel.
