SUMMARY

MWF Properties is an owner and developer of multifamily apartments.  This position would focus on development activities for MWF Properties, and would be a direct report to the Director of Development for the southeast region. This position is based in Tampa, Florida.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Know how it all works, help make it happen, and be a team player at the center of the action by bringing your initiative, imagination and problem-solving skills to MWF Properties. The selected candidate would provide analytic support services and be involved in coordinating the development of market rate multi-family housing projects.

Site Selection:

  • Site selection tasks including market analysis, demographic forecasting, site investigation and miscellaneous due diligence activities to help identify areas of opportunity for future development
  • Coordination with local brokers, landowners, and land use authorities on potential multifamily development opportunities
  • Conduct research into comparable land sales, applicable development fees, and other market data to aid in the preparation of offers to purchase

 

Underwriting/Development:

  • Assist development team in initial underwriting for future developments
  • Preparation of financial analysis and related transaction materials
  • Preparation of marketing and related materials for presentation to government entities, investors, and related groups
  • Review comparable stabilized properties to evaluate operational expenses
  • Collaboration with architects, engineers, land use attorneys, contractor and others in the initial design of the development
  • Initial financial analysis including project/program equity and debt requirements, loan package completion, and ad hoc analysis and project evaluations
  • Provide support to asset management and development teams as needed

  • Pursuing BA/BS degree in finance, real estate or related field
  • 3.0 GPA minimum
