Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. (ARTI) is currently recruiting for Security Specialist IV in support of a contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  The position is full-time, exempt. Start date is immediate, based on award of DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD).

SUMMARY

Working in the Personnel Security Program Branch within the Strategy Analysis and Risk Management branch. The successful candidate will support the Office of the Chief Security officer at one of several DHS sites in DC.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulation and maintenance of metrics over CCIPP, DD 254 actions and Risk Assessments
  • Developing outreach initiatives and customer engagement initiatives (OPO, I&A, CISA, CORs, Components, etc.)
  • Continued development CCIPP Instructions and Directives
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures for CCIPP and Risk Assessments
  • Information gathering analysis and report compilation
  • Management of DD 254 transition and execution
  • Management of business analysis tools
  • Knowledge of NISPOM and, national and international security requirements.
  • Understanding of and experience-based familiarity with the U.S. Federal Government and DoD agencies and their security practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree with 10 years of specialized experience in one of the following areas: counterintelligence, investigations, industrial security, dignitary/VIP policy and security standard development, security countermeasures programs, access systems operation and management, personnel protection and protecting classified information or 14 years of specialized experience with no degree. Ability to interpret management directives and guidance as it relates to security programs/operations and make appropriate implementation recommendations
  • Strong knowledge on Providing research services and advise office personnel on national and international security developments.
  • Ability to prepare and present department briefings to senior level officials.
  • Possess a proven experience developing and maintain working relationships with high-level officials and technical experts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members
  • Experience working in a fast-based, analytical environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite- PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word
