POSITION TITLE: AutoCAD Draftsman

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: Vacaville

Position Summary:

Uses CAD equipment to prove support to engineer by preparing routine layouts. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary to manufacture. Makes copes of drawing and maintains information regarding changes to database.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Creating full set of architectural plans
• Details for Residential plain in AutoCAD 2010 or newer
• Printing design drawings
• Creating detail libraries
• Providing CAD support to CAD team

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• 2 yrs. + of AutoCAD drafting/design experience with residential building projects.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs including Outlook
• Professional oral and written communication skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Associates degree preferred but not a requirement
• Ability to read plans (blue prints)
• Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines, prioritize and multitask
• Must be a team player
