McAninch Corporation is a seasonal construction contractor. 

Position Description:
Our drivers haul various materials to and from our construction sites, including soil, rock and water, primarily with tractors pulling side-dump trailers.  Drivers secure, transport and unload cargo/materials or they may assist in loading, securing and unloading the truck manually. They maintain radio or telephone contact with base or a supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location. They keep records of materials and products transported. They are also responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and servicing the vehicle.

This position will also cross-train with lowboy trailers to transport construction equipment to specified destinations on construction sites. Drivers load and secure equipment for transport. 

Job Requirements:

• Must have Class A CDL and manual transmission endorsement.
• 2 years + experience or graduation certificate. 
• Experience with lowboy trailers preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and fitness for duty exam, including climbing, lifting, balancing and stooping. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Monday through Saturday availability required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Some travel required outside of Central Iowa, but drivers are typically home daily.

Wages/Benefits

Truck Driver wage is $29.10 per hour. McAninch also pays for 100% of all benefits including health insurance premiums and pension dues as provided for by the Local 90 Teamsters (eligible after 600 hours worked).   Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week and employees are paid weekly on every Friday. Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a 100% company-funded retirement plan that awards shares in McAninch Corporation without a penny coming out of your paycheck.
