Eby Construction is a general contractor based in Wichita, KS. Eby is a family-owned business which was founded in 1937 by Martin K. Eby Sr. right here in south-central Kansas. Eby has worked in many business sectors over the years, however, our current workload is primarily in manufacturing/industrial, medical, commercial, and historical renovations. We perform this work in a variety of contracting arrangements including general contractor, construction manager, design-builder, and occasionally as a specialty subcontractor.

Eby Construction is looking for an Estimator ready to help our team grow. This is a Wichita, KS based position. The Estimator is responsible for estimating construction projects of various types and sizes. The Estimator must be motivated, accurate and approachable. The Estimator will work as part of the estimating team and assist the Estimating Manager with the following functions:

Responsibilities include:
  • Participate in both hard bid and conceptual estimates
  • Perform quantity takeoff functions
  • Prepare scopes and bid solicitations
  • Maintain contact with subcontractors and vendors to encourage bid participation and answer questions
  • Assist the Estimating Manager and/or Project Managers in conceptual estimates.
  • Communicate with Architects and Engineers 
  • Participate in Bid Day functions such as scope comparison sheets and contacting subcontractors
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
