The Cleveland, Ohio office of WRL is looking for a Architectural Lighting Designer to join our team.

Architectural Lighting Designer

In this role, you will work within our Innovative Technology Design Group on major projects in our primary building types, including performing arts centers, museums, healthcare, workplace, and higher education environments.

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Architectural or Theatrical Lighting Design / Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AGI32 (or other lighting simulation software), AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Proficiency in energy code and lighting calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to do field measurements and on‐site verification.
• Familiarity with IESNA guidelines and lighting design best practices.
• Basic understanding of the practice of architecture and architectural design protocols and methods.
• Familiarity with sustainable design, including the LEED rating systems.
• 5 years or more of experience.
