Iowa Bridge & Culvert is expanding! We are looking for experienced Bridge & Structures Carpenters. This position constructs, sets up, and strips wooden forms and other wooden structures (i.e. handrails) as needed during a construction project.  Ability to tie and assemble rebar according to specifications.  Assemble, set, and strip metal forms required by the project.  Drive all types of piling (wood, steel, and concrete) using standard driving tools) diesel, gravity, and vibration hammers. Erect and set structural beams (steel and concrete).  May at times supervise or manage a small segment of employees or phase of the construction project.   

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of three years of Heavey Civil/Structures Construction experience. Familiarity with generally accepted construction specifications, means, and methods is required. Must have the ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Experience and familiarity with cranes, heavy machinery, basic survey equipment, and other industry-standard equipment are required.
