Salary: $32.05-$42.49 + Benefits

Responsibilities: 

APRS seeks dedicated and skilled Reclaimer/Stabilizer Operators to join our team. Reclamation is the most efficient way to transform old asphalt pavements into base material. At the same time, soil stabilization is a cost-effective method to build project sites by injecting various products into marginal soils to create sold road bases. 

  • Operate reclamation and stabilization equipment for pulverizing for full-depth reclamation (FDR)
  • Operate reclamation/stabilization and related equipment to blend existing asphalt and gravel base layers, and inject products to build sold road bases, as well as prepare surfaces for paving or rework. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on milling equipment, such as greasing, cleaning, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Monitor the reclamation/stabilization process to ensure the depth and width meet project specifications and quality standards. .
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure efficient project execution. 
  • Maintain and communicate accurate records of work performed and any issues encountered during milling operations. 
  • Be available for other tasks and projects as required.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience operating asphalt reclamation equipment is beneficial but not required. 
  • Knowledge of road building and construction processes is an asset. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Valid Class A License with the ability to obtain hazardous materials and tanker endorsements. 
  • Current DOT medical card and acceptable motor vehicle record.
