Commercial Roofing Service Foreman

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Commercial Roofing Maintenance, customer service/communications, and an understanding of OSHA safety requirements as well as safe working practices. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Inspects, maintains, and makes repairs to various commercial roofing systems to include but not limited to TPO, PVC, BUR, Mod-Bit, Shingles, Tile, SSMR, EPDM, and other(s).
  • Perform and enforce safety procedures and company policies.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to Service Helper.
  • Be on time, responsible and reliable.
  • Other duties may be required on an as-needed basis, to be directed by the GM.
  • We run a 24/7 shop as a service department responding to emergency calls after hours and/or on the weekends.

  • Full Time
  • 8-hour
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • On call

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 3 years of commercial roofing experience. (Required)
  • Must have 1 year of Foreman experience. (Required)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have a driver’s license in good standing.
  • A motor vehicle records check is required.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations.
  • OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certified, or ability to obtain through sponsored training.
  • Travel.
  • Must know how to install all roofing systems, properly and safely (BUR, TPO, PVC, Shingles, Tile, Mod-Bit, SSMR, EPDM, and sheet metal work).
  • Must know basic computer and cell phone usage. Familiarity with Service software is a plus.  Familiar with use of iPhone and iPad.

Compensation:

Per hour based on experience and skill level.
