 We are currently seeking a Project and Client Engagement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our Data Science team. This position will act as the bridge between clients, data scientists, and project stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of projects while driving engagement and alignment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and adept at managing client relationships, coordinating project deliverables, and providing strategic insights that enhance our data-driven initiatives.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Client Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Responsibilities
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
    • Set and manage client expectations based on project scope, timelines, and technical team input.
    • Proactively engage clients to keep them informed, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.

 Project Execution

  • Position Responsibilities
    • Lead project kickoff and closeout activities, ensuring smooth project launches and conducting lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement.
    • Monitor project progress by tracking and comparing project hours, deadlines, and milestones to ensure alignment with the project roadmap.
    • Complete client weekly status reports, capturing key action items, and keeping all stakeholders informed
    • Manage project hours and budgets, providing bi-monthly updates and ensuring projects stay within scope.
    • Oversee change control processes, including initiating, documenting, and securing client approvals for scope adjustments.
    • Support technical discussions by collaborating with the Data Science team and clients to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
    • Proactively address roadblocks by identifying challenges, coordinating resolutions, and following up on outstanding action items.
    • Coach and support project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and the use of CATCH best practices to enhance project execution.
  • Supporting Data Science Leads to:
    • Review requirement documentation, presentations and statements of work
    • Collaborate to define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management, technical leads and stakeholders.
    • Direct and manage project development activities from beginning to end.
    • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
    • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
    • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises (risk management), and devise contingency plans.
    • Align project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

Data Science and Client Strategy

  • Responsibilities
    • Understand and support the team’s current mission and strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients through strategic engagement and relationship-building.
    • Working closely with the Data Science Director and team leads to strategizing on the future direction of projects and improving efficiency.
    • Proactively position additional work and cross sell to other services and software
    • Participating with a multifaceted team to develop client strategies

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

  • Technically competent with various software programs. Required: Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Working knowledge: SharePoint and OneNote
