Position Description:

Mechanics complete a wide variety of tasks for our full service shop. This position will start as an auto mechanic, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of pick-up trucks and SUVs. The mechanic will also train to become a field mechanic or diesel technician to complete repairs on equipment such as bulldozers, tractors, rollers, and other production vehicles.

Mechanics work from 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Weekend overtime required as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years mechanic experience required to supplement a degree.
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, kneel, crawl and squat as needed
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 125 lbs independently
• Ability to perform overhead and elevated work required.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Class A or B CDL preferred. Clean driving record required.

Benefits:

Mechanics start at up to $38.53 per hour, based on experience. McAninch pays 100% of all benefits, including health insurance premiums and pension dues, as provided by Local 234 Operators Union. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week and employees are paid weekly on every Friday.
