We’re now looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead our new construction division and drive strategic growth.

Job Summary

We’re seeking a results-driven HVAC Sales Manager with a strong background in new construction projects to manage and grow our sales team. This role requires someone who understands the construction timeline, bid process, and the importance of early-stage planning with developers and general contractors. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, mentoring your team, and overseeing the full sales cycle—from takeoff to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to residential and commercial construction markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, general contractors, architects, and project managers.
  • Oversee the bid process, from blueprint takeoff through estimating, proposal submission, and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (estimating, project management, operations) to ensure smooth project handoff and execution.
  • Monitor construction market trends, builder pipelines, and local developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure sales processes align with company goals, budgets, and customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of HVAC sales experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven success working with new construction HVAC projects, including bidding and construction timelines.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and load calculations relevant to construction settings.
  • Strong industry network and established relationships with regional builders and contractors (a plus).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with construction project cycles, permitting, and mechanical code requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • CRM and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel); experience with Bluebeam software a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
