Job Description:
The Leadman Electrician is a skilled leader responsible for overseeing daily electrical operations on-site, ensuring all installations meet current electrical codes and safety standards. This position bridges the gap between field electricians and project management, providing guidance, coordination, and quality control to ensure efficient project completion.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in the electrical trade with successful completion of a certified apprenticeship.

  • Proven leadership skills and prior experience in a supervisory or lead role.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, legend symbols, scale plans, branch circuits, one-line and riser diagrams.

  • Skilled in the use of hydraulic benders and electrical trim-out.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lead a crew effectively while also performing hands-on electrical work.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the work of journeyman and apprentice electricians on job sites.

  • Ensure all electrical systems are installed according to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

  • Test electrical systems to identify issues, ensure system safety, and verify compatibility.

  • Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, providing on-the-job training and support.

  • Communicate with project management to report progress, challenges, and material needs.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, testing results, diagnostics, and corrective actions.

  • Uphold and enforce all safety protocols and site regulations.
