SHEET METAL/DUCTWORK FABRICATOR position is available with Napps Cooling, Heating and Plumbing, a strong progressive residential, commercial and industrial HVAC/R and plumbing company located in Longview, Texas since 1957.

The successful candidate must have tenured experience and proficiency in sheet metal fabrication for commercial HVAC equipment and systems along with strong welding skills. Specific experience and proficiency should include installation of large split and package commercial HVAC equipment, package chillers, cooling towers, air and water cooled condensers, boilers, pumps and other hydronic components.

We are seeking a focused, dynamic team player who is seeking to improve their personal skill level and experience while assisting Napps growth to the next level in customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and nurture client relationships by providing professional, quality services and timely communication.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with Napps and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Keep timely records for labor, material and refrigerant usage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years experience in sheet metal fabrication for commercial HVAC equipment and systems along with strong welding skill
• Skilled in fabrication of welded and non-welded sheet metal ductwork including stainless steel applications
• Able to conceptualize, design and fabricate custom sheet metal parts
• Must be able to read drawings, set curbs, install duct and dampers
• Welding experience required and should include experience in GAS, TIG, MIG and ARC
• Installation of HVAC systems and ductwork
• Precision in measuring, cutting, bending, and forming metal components required
• Fabricating finished parts using nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, or by welding and soldering
• Experience working in a physically demanding environments
• Must pass drug screen & background check
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• HVAC trade school and/or NATE certification is desirable.
• Working knowledge of the techniques, methods, tools, & safety precautions of the HVAC trade.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications is desired.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma/ or equivalent is required.
