POSITION TITLE:  Warehouse Manager

REPORTS TO:  VP of Construction Services

PAYRATE: DOE

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time

EFFECTIVE DATE: April 17, 2015

LOCATION: Vacaville

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the production and scheduling of day to day workload, which many include shipping and receiving, inventory control, quality assurance, order picking, product assembly, packing and include warehouse, transportation distribution of finished goods to final destination.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

 The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Production (sheet metal prefab)
  • Purchasing of HVAC and shop materials
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Effective warehouse management for space, production and flow
  • Coordinate materials and deliveries
  • Prepare and update receiving reports
  • Prepare and update purchasing reports
  • Maintain Purchasing Reports
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory to ensure security and preservation of materials
  • Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling activates

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in warehouse/ shop management.
  • Ability to work with vendors to ensure accurately and timely orders.
  • Strong familiarity with HVAC/sheet metal materials
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication skills with management and subordinates
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment (THIS IS A MUST!)
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Work well under pressure and meet pressing deadlines
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) a MUST
  • Ability to meet pressing deadlines
  • Must be able to pass Drug Test
