POSITION SUMMARY
A Senior Manager of construction project teams and programs under their responsibility. Proactively anticipating risks & challenges while successfully maneuvering through them to meet assigned goals. Maintains oversight and mentoring responsibility for assigned projects and project teams ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. Communicates openly and transparent with all stakeholders ensuring both internal and external relationships are held to the highest regard. Scope is inclusive but not limited to program management & projects from initial bid through completion, engaged in project management processes, customer relationships, exceeding customer expectations, managing project teams, developing team members, achieving project financial goals, ensuring project schedules are met, overseeing the completion of financial reporting/management of cash flow, and ensure safety of team members and customers.

- Identify/Update High Payoff Activities and Motivation Plans with Each Direct Report.
- Provide Feedback on Performance and Coaching for Improvement and Motivation.
- Identify and Address Training Needs for Each Direct Report(s).
- Help Team Members Identify and Solve Problems.
Successfully Lead Construction Project teams from Bid to Closeout.
- Review and approve all estimates and schedules prepared for assigned projects and teams.
- Review contract terms and conditions while assisting with contract negotiations.
- Lead project planning, including job start meetings and planning sessions.
- Supervise the activities of assigned projects to ensure compliance with K2 standards.
- Ensure timely job closeout and monthly cost reporting.
Ensure Projects Achieve Financial Goals.
- Oversee performance on cost analysis of project estimates to identify deficiencies and areas for cost savings.
- Ensure PMs clearly explain to field crews the scope of the project in relation to the contract and plans.
- Ensure PMs identify change order scope and the most profitable approach. Ensure PMs have all change orders captured.
- Ensure PMs monitor purchase requests to ensure material complies with project scope. Ensure buy out is as profitable as possible.
- Ensure cost to completes evaluate production rates.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years as a Project Manager with a bachelor’s degree focused on construction management OR 8+ years as a Project Manager with a career path working through the ranks as an Electrician (experience must be in commercial electrical construction projects).
- Experience with organizing the appropriate data for key leadership decision making.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long hours when working in the office.
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds as needed in routine activities associated with position.
- Ability to wear PPE when working/visiting a project location.
- Ability to work in extreme heat when working/visiting a project location.
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain when working/visiting a project location.
