We are looking for someone who takes pride in running a highly organized shipping and receiving team and leading with clarity and confidence. As our Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you’ll oversee the full flow of incoming and outgoing materials—coordinating receiving, inspection, staging, order preparation, and outbound shipments—while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety at every step.

You’re hands‑on and ready to step in when priorities shift, solving problems quickly to keep freight moving on schedule. You understand how critical attention to detail is in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, and you use ERP systems to track work, maintain inventory accuracy, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to improve processes.

Just as important, you’re committed to developing your team—providing coaching, feedback, and support—while holding everyone accountable to clear standards and safe work practices.

If you’re a natural leader who values structure, safety, and operational excellence, and you want to have a direct impact on daily shipping and receiving performance, this role is a great fit for you.

Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff performance; provide feedback, training, and support.
  • Provide daily work assignments, set priorities, and monitor shift goals while coordinating personnel and resources with managers and other supervisors to ensure productivity, accuracy and completion of all scheduled department work.
  • Ensure safety and security of goods, materials, and facility by enforcing safety policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures
  • Train new and existing employees on all required procedures, processes, and best practices to ensure they can successfully perform assigned work tasks.
  • Support the development, revision, and enforcement of inventory management procedures, including recordkeeping, work instructions, ISO requirements, and standard operating practices.
  • Safely operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and related material-handling equipment to transport parts to designated areas, and to load or unload steel trucks as needed.
  • Supervise receiving activities to ensure purchased goods are accurately verified, documented, transacted in the system, and properly stored, while maintaining quality and procedural standards.
  • Oversee the inspection of inbound freight to identify and document any damage and ensure freight claims are submitted and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure cycle counting is performed accurately and consistently and collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions for inventory issues.
