Premier Fire & Security is searching for Low Voltage Technicians to join our team in the Atlanta area! We take our mission “to protect lives and property” very seriously. If you are enthusiastic about that mission, you’ll make a great addition!
Technicians will install, service, and repair fire alarm and security wiring as well as other various low voltage equipment (CCTV, Access Controls, Security systems, Special Hazards equipment, etc).
Responsibilities:
- Install and program new fire alarms, security systems, access control and camera systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm, security systems, access controls and security camera systems.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all systems
- Monitor inventory of service parts on company vehicle when training has progressed to such a level.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred in install/service of fire alarm, security systems, access control and/or cameras.
- 2 years experience in inspections, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems preferred.
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm, and/or Special Hazards preferred.
- Kentucky Fire Alarm Inspector certification preferred.
- Familiarity with hand/ power tools, uploading/downloading/programming.
- Adaptability to change in an innovative technology industry, that is ever evolving.
- Ability to bend at the waist and knees, as some confined space work is necessary.

Some travel will be required based on job site location and training requirements.
