 MANAGER, PEOPLE STRATEGY

The Manager, People Strategy supports leaders across the organization by aligning people‑related priorities with effective strategies and solutions. This role develops practical approaches to strengthening engagement, retention, onboarding, and the broader employee experience. It also guides core HR processes and uses data and insights to inform decisions and everyday people practices. This position is based out of our Englewood, Colorado office, with expected travel of up to 30%.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating organizational goals and workforce insights into actionable people strategies.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a comprehensive onboarding program, driving project planning, process improvements, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure a consistent, high‑impact new hire experience.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and talent needs, designing engagement strategies that strengthen culture, communication, and connection.
  • Analyze turnover trends with leaders and co-create targeted retention strategies, assessing risks and measuring impact.
  • Align employer brand messaging with authentic business narratives to support talent attraction and market relevance.
  • Interpret people data with leaders and provide recommendations that enable informed workforce decisions.
  • Provide guidance on routine HR matters, supporting leaders and employees in navigating policies, conflict resolution, development conversations, and organizational changes.
  • All other duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR, people strategy, or HR business partnership.
  • Experience supporting leaders and teams through people‑focused strategies, programs, or projects.
  • Background in employee engagement, retention, and workforce planning preferred.
  • Experience working in construction, field‑based environments, or multi‑site operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong consulting and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work effectively with leaders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze people data and translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, including performance management, employee relations, and policy application.
  • Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated experience implementing or improving HR programs (e.g., onboarding, engagement initiatives).
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office/365 products.
  • The physical activity required for this role includes: 
  • Travel as needed, up to 30%
  • Occasional site visits in a range of weather conditions
  • Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods in an office environment
  • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
