JOB SUMMARY 

Gallo Mechanical is looking for our next group of 2026 Summer Interns! Join our 8-week paid internship program and gain hands-on experience in the HVAC and Plumbing Mechanical Construction industry. Interns will build practical skills, develop industry knowledge, and work closely with our teams to learn project management, leadership, and relationship-building skills. At Gallo Mechanical, we’re growing fast and we’re looking to invest in the next generation of talent. This program is designed to identify and develop high-performing interns for future full-time opportunities. 

DEPARTMENTS 

Operations, Project Management, Estimating, Preconstruction, Finance, Accounting, Safety, Administration, IT, Procurement, Engineering, BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Sales 

PROGRAM DETAILS 

  • Dates: June 1– July 24, 2026 (full participation required)
  • Schedule: 30–40 hours per week
  • Pay: $16.00/hour
  • Locations: LA- New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Hammond, MS- Canton; NC- Raleigh & Charlotte; SC- Charleston 
  • Deadline to Apply: March 25, 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects. 
  • Participate in structured training and complete assignments on schedule. 
  • Deliver a final presentation to senior leadership summarizing your internship experience. 
  • Assist project teams in planning, documentation, and process improvement. 
  • Shadow another intern to gain exposure to different departments and roles.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Preferred: Rising Junior or Senior
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
