Position Overview

NCS Network Cabling Services, Inc. is seeking experienced and driven professionals for RCDD and RTPM contract roles. These positions will play a critical role in supporting structured cabling and network infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality design, execution, and delivery. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in telecommunications and low-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities

RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer):

  • Design and develop structured cabling systems, including copper, fiber optic, and wireless infrastructure
  • Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, etc.)
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure design accuracy and execution
  • Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and client consultations

RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager):

  • Manage structured cabling and telecommunications projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, and company standards
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to scope
  • Provide regular project updates and reporting to stakeholders
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all parties

Required Qualifications

  • RCDD certification is required
  • RTPM certification required for project management candidates
  • Proven experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including fiber and copper systems
  • Experience managing or supporting large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or data center environments
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
